Food Favorites at the Summit

The Summit at Fritz Farm is where it’s at! With shopping, fitness, food, and more, the Summit has a feature for every person to love! I’ve had the pleasure of working at Madewell at the Summit since opening, and it has been an absolute blast! Plus getting to know the other retailers at the Summit, allows me to develop friendships with many individuals creating a very “homey” atmosphere. čÖé

Of course shopping at the Summit is fabulous, but I’m here to share some of my “Food Favorites” I’ve experienced so far, with many more restaurants to try out in the near future! (Of Course!)

“The Barn” really is the perfect “One-Stop-Shop” to experience a delicious meal with tons of variety! Whether it’s a nice glass of whiskey from Whiskey Bear, Japanese Ramen from Atomic Ramen, or yummy fried chicken from Pasture by Marksbury Farm, you’ll be sure to find the meal that best suits your desires.

My first experience at The Barn was at Pasture by Marksbury Farm and let me say, it did not disappoint! That day I was in a bit of a hurry so I opted for a quick meal…Kids grilled cheese with beer cheese fries. I’m a huge beer cheese lover, and the beer cheese at the Pasture was some of the cheesiest, smoothest I’ve ever had…I was a big fan!

Of course I had to finish the meal off with a delicious ice cream dessert from Crank and Boom, also located inside The Barn. I ordered a chocolate scoop with Chocolate Bombe Sauce (100% recommend on EVERYTHING) and oreo cookie crumbles. I’m a chocolate everything kind of girl, but you can create a masterpiece with their premium toppings!

I haven’t had a chance to experience everything at The Barn yet, however I look forward to very soon! The other place I did have a privilege to try was Smithtown Seafood and it was out of this world! Just looking over the menu options, you will have a hard time deciding because they all sound delicious…

However, I chose to try the “Fried Shrimp Po-Boy” sandwich and it was incredible! The sauce that covered the shrimp was so tasty and just the right amount of spice. Hard to tell from the photo but I actually filled up so fast, I was able to make two meals out of it!

Another “Food Favorite” at the Summit for me is, CoreLife Eatery! As much as I keep telling myself “I’m gonna eat healthy” for some reason it always backfires lol. However, if you’re in the mood for something healthy and delicious, I would highly recommend CoreLife Eatery.

I chose the “Create your own Bowl” option and purchased a salad with all of my favorite fixins, added broccoli & cheddar soup, and had a lemonade that was to die for! Their “Cranberry Cayenne Lemonade” WOW it was so good!!

Whole Foods is another fabulous place to visit while at the Summit. I find myself eating off their hot food bar pretty often on lunch break. One of my personal favorites there is their freshly squeezed organic orange juice. It is worth every penny and I love the option of preparing it yourself. Plus there are like three different sizes to choose from so you can get it to go like I did or purchase a larger option.

Another “Food Favorite” that I just can’t seem to stay away from at the Summit, is Edleys BBQ. I’ve had several items on the menu since it was one of the first places open and my oh my…it’s all so yummy! Their pulled pork, the cornbread, mac and cheese, all so good! I even swing by there sometimes and purchase a pint of their banana pudding lol, (would totally recommend!) But I think I’ve decided┬ámy personal favorite are their “BBQ Loaded Fries.”

They have it as a nachos option too, but my favorite are the fries. Loaded with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, cheese, pico, and more…these loaded BBQ fries are where it’s at! It’s actually an appetizer but I usually chow down before I offer to share lol. Seriously, they are a MUST TRY.

Another “Food Favorite” is Blaze Pizza! I mean, what is not to love about pizza?! I honestly believe I could live off pizza for the rest of my life if I had to…Anyways, Blaze Pizza is so fun and totally customizable. I typically customize using the “Create your Own” option but sometimes I opt for their signature pizzas and they are just as yummy! Pictured below I purchased the Meat Lover, BBQ Chicken, and the White top.

Last but not least, STEEL CITY POPS! If you have not had a chance to stop by, please do! Their pops are totally customizable and the perfect amount of dessert if you have a constant sweet tooth like me. They give you the option to pick your pop, dip, dredge, and drizzle and I usually choose every option. My personal favorites are their cookie-pops but you honestly can’t choose a bad one. And if for some reason you pick out one that you aren’t a fan of, they’ll switch it out…How cool?! I’ve had anything from Pineapple Habanero, to Pumpkin Spice, White Chocolate Peppermint, but my consistent favorite is pictured below!

Cookies and Cream pop with white chocolate drizzle, dredged in oreo crumbles…if you’re a big chocolate lover like me, sometimes I dip it in chocolate too for the ultimate pop!

That’s it from me! I hope you’ve enjoyed my personal “Food Favorite” suggestions located at the Summit at Fritz Farm. There are several places not mentioned, but I’ve genuinely heard great comments from them all! I have several places left to try so I would love to hear your personal favorites and your go-to menu items as well!

Happy Eating, Friends!
